Green Day, Nine Inch Nails, and My Morning Jacket are set to headline the Shaky Knees Festival to be held at Central Park in Atlanta, Georgia, between April 29 and May 1, 2022.
Next year’s event marks the festival’s seventh year. The festival, founded by Tim Sweetwood in 2013, got its name from the classic My Morning Jacket single “Stream Engine.”
Billy Idol, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, CHVRCHES, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Death Cab For Cutie, Khruangbin, Coin, Japanese Breakfast, Faye Webster, The Garden, Colony House, Dirty Honey, Gang of Youths, Guided by Voices, Spoon, Highly Suspect, Travis, Mt. Joy, Kurt Vile & the Violators, The Regrettes and several others are also scheduled to perform during the three-day event. More performers are likely to be added in the coming months.
The Shaky Knees Festival, which did not take place in 2020 due to the pandemic, returned this October. Foo Fighters, Run The Jewels, and The Strokes headlined the festival this year.
Sale of tickets for three-day weekend admission or one-day general admission, general admission plus, VIP and platinum commenced on November 11 via the official Shaky Knees Festival website.
